Born in 1962 in Kazanluk, Gencho graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Kazanluk. He then moved on to specialize in Painting at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Kiril and Methody". He lives and works in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia.
