Born on March 13, 1973 in Gabrovo.
She graduated from the Art High School of Applied Arts in Tryavna
with a degree in Wood Carving
and in 1998 she graduated with a degree in Painting from
the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. Cyril and Methodius".
She lives and works in Pleven.
Together with her husband Ivo Petrov
they are a tandem not only in life, but also in art
and have realized together and separately numerous exhibitions
in the country and in Spain and France.
Nina Petrova works in the field of figural painting,
showing a strong preference for miniature and small format.
Characteristic of her style are the hyper-realistic depictions
and the one-color painting, aiming to create a retro atmosphere.
The paintings radiate nostalgia for the Art Deco era
and the 1920s.
