Vladimir Zapryanov was born on the 18th of November in 1963 in Dimitrovgrad. He graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Kazanlak and then the University of Veliko Tarnovo “Kiril and Methodii”, specializing in Painting. He splits his time between Sofia and Haskovo and has been the subject of a plethora of solo and combined exhibitions in Bulgaria and Germany. His canvases are a brave interpretation of philosophical and historical topics, conveyed to his audience with the help of the abstract brush strokes.
