Born on May 24, 1952 in Pleven, Hinko is a self-taught artist,
without academic education.
Since 1978 participates regularly in regional and
national exhibitions and is a member of
the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
He has realized over 20 solo exhibitions
and participations in numerous plein airs.
His works are in the possession of the
National Art Gallery, Sofia City Art Gallery, City Art Gallery
- Pleven, Art Galleries in Gabrovo, Lovech, Targovishte,
Sliven, as well as in private collections in the country
and abroad.
Hinko's style is original and can be defined as naive
or naive realism. It is characteristic of him that he draws
his inspiration from live nature specifically.
