Eli Stancheva was born in 1956. in Plovdiv.
She graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia,
majoring in Painting under Acad. Svetlin Rusev.
She has participated in over 40 exhibitions.
She is a member of the Society of Plovdiv Artists and
a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
The author's works are owned by the Sofia City Gallery and many
private collections in Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Greece, England
and Germany.
Since 1981 works as a teacher of drawing and painting at
Tsanko Lavrenov University in Plovdiv.
He lives and works in Plovdiv.
