Şükran Istanbullu

Şükran was born in Balakesir (Turkey)
and has lived in Washington for seven years, 
where she began studying painting. 
In 2001 she joined the workshops of artists 
Hikmet Cetinkaya and Erdogan Sechil.

Şükran has several solo exhibitions, art fairs and seminars
as well as participations in many group exhibitions in 
Turkey and abroad. 

Her paintings have been exhibited in Paris, Moscow, 
Athens, Plovdiv, Reggio Emilia and others.
She is a member of the AKD 
(Association of Women Artists in Ankara) 
and UPSD (International Art Association of UNESCO AIAP).
