Elena Georgieva was born in 1979 in Sofia. From 1997 till 1999 she studied painting in “The Julius Pinkas Fine Art College” in Sofia. In 2006 Graduated the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia - master degree in painting in the class of Acad. Svetlin Rusev, Prof. Desislava Mincheva and Prof. Ivaylo Mirchev.
In 2006 Elena became member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. In 2007 she opened her first solo exhibition at "Art 36" gallery, followed by a solo exhibition at the Privatization Agency. Her next exhibition, named “Places”, took place in 2009 at "Sofia Press Gallery”. It included landscapes from Bulgaria, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia. In 2010 she participated in the initiative of Global Foundation for Art PANGAEA, under the motto "Society today and tomorrow" with the painting "To create life”. In 2013 she was awarded a two-month specialization at “Cite des Arts”, Paris. In 2016 she participated in Allianz Bulgaria National Competition for Painting. In 1916 she was nomineed a scholarship in Munchen. In 2019 she opened her one man show “Higher Ground” at “Astry Gallery”, Sofia. 2020 - Participation in the 10-th International Biennial of Small Forms, Pleven
