Ivan Lambrov

Ivan was born on the 16th of October 1963 in Yambol. In 1991 he graduated with a degree in Fresco from the National Academy of Fine Arts "Nikolay Pavlovich" in Sofia. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. He lives and works in Plovdiv. Aside from taking part in numerous international art fairs, Lambrov has also been the subject of a plethora of successful solo exhibitions. His monumental works have been proudly exhibited in social spaces, such as government buildings and private properties. Pieces by Lambrov can be found in the collections of the National Arts Gallery in Sofia, governmental institutions and private buyers from Bulgaria, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Hungary, Greece, and Brazil.

Ivan Lambrov sometimes ventures into abstract paintings, but mostly holds his focus on working with glass. He experiments not only with stained glass but also with creating vivid paintings out of molten glass and colorful glass sculptures.
